All I want out of an actor or actress (no capitalization intended), is for them to entertain me.
I will sit in front of the the tube in my underware, drinking a beer. All I expect out of an actor is for me to laugh, my wife to cry, and my kid to do whatever. I have zero interest in them attempting to educate me or sway my opinion on whatever their cause of the day happens to be. Entertain me, Bitch. That's all. Just entertain me. You are a big zero on the importance scale. All you can do is pretend to be someone else for my amusement. You mean less than the bag boy at the supermarket. Your only ability and function in life is to pretend. STFU about what's happening in the real world. You are merely a zit on my ass that at times will feel cool, and at other times feel bad. So he abused his position to spit his political views.
Wonder how he would like it if his dentist went on and on about how great Dubya is while he had Dryfuss in the chair? Or if his maid spewed her views as she cleaned his house. Actors can have views, and spout them to their friends or other actors at the commissary. But using their camera time to abuse their position would be just as unwelcome. |
