| Asians and Indians and many others come to the USA and within 3 years they speak English, they own a profitable business and their kids are going to MIT. So why should we pay reparations to a group of people who haven't been able to get their shit together in 150 years? |

The African slave trade was also largely run by Moslems and they usually raided and captured people non-Moslem African tribes. But, you know, I figure the whole thing is driven by some kind of racial justice nonsense. And knowing that Black people were party to raiding Europe and capturing White people as slaves for centuries might make some Black people feel better about the whole balance of things. |

Hell, a lot of people would resort to civil unrest if they're forced to pay outright reparations (we're dangerously close already). If people think that race relations have gotten worse in the last eight years (they have), imagine the outright hostility and violence that reparations would engender. |
