key loggers have been discussed in most of the threads that deal with cheating girlfriends/spouses, maybe search those subjects. I have nothing else of value to add.

I wouldn't trust a software keylogger, because it's impossible to know who other than yourself it's sending info to. Use a hardware keylogger... but you won't have remote access.
