There is a Remington 870, 12 gauge, 20 inch plain barrel, cylinder bore, pistol grip and no butt stock. The pistol grip has Remington stamped on it. Is this shotgun worth any more than a normal run of the mill Wingmaster?

The shop owner said it did have a folding butt stock but the original owner lost the stock. No other marks are visible.

Probably not, but you can ask here for better information: http://www.thefiringline.com/forums/forumdisplay.php?s=&forumid=2

The stock if complete would be worth $75-100 bux. The shotgun is worth no more than any other.

Just converted some 870Ps for the Cdos' to the Remington folder. Did a bunch of em. As for the new fixed stocks I took off, get this they were in the bin. What a waste, you know the black plastic ones which store one rd on each side.
