No, because when you buy a used gun the BATFE loses the ability to track it down (4473 or not) unless the seller keeps a record of who you are. Even then, if you move or if they lose that record then the gun is gone again. The only thing that the BATFE can determine is who made the gun, what gun store it went to and then from there who bought it initially. If that person sold it then the gun could be anywhere as far as the BATFE knows. |
