A guy I work with gave me a bunch of ammo cans he got from his neighbor. They have some rust on them. What is the best way to refurb. them?

Sand it, degrease it, OD Krylon. I am sure someone here has a better way.

What "I" would do is take at least ONE and BLING it all out... get that super bright goldleaf paint and paint it with that.... Why?

I have no fucking clue.

I've seen one guy who stripped a can clean, powder-coated the can and chrome-plated the cover. Then he lined the inside with cedar and shelf and made it into a cigar humidor.
