Will the clowns in GA learn to drive on sleet this year? I was stuck in that storm for 18 hours for my job. I consider myself a very good driver, with a racing background and a perfect driving record. The drivers were only half the problem. The roads were truly horrible. They were covered in 2'-4" clear, frozen, slick ice. It was like ice skating. The DOT and the State did a piss poor job of handling it. It was the worst road experience ever. |

We are getting our monsoon rains right on time this year. During dove season. If the pattern holds we could have a winter like I remember as a kid. There will be a few good snowstorms with 6-12 inches of accumulation which will melt off the next day. We might get a bad ice storm in January or February. We haven't had any winter to speak of in a long time. Maybe some dustings of snow and a couple of weeks of cold. Otherwise 60-70 during the day and 25-30 at night. |

Man I hope not. It was kind of a mild summer in my neck of the woods. Last winter was definitely one of the top 5 worst ones I've been through. Quoted:

I am not getting that snow vibe for this year. Man I hope not. It was kind of a mild summer in my neck of the woods. Last winter was definitely one of the top 5 worst ones I've been through. It was a hot and dry summer this year in my neck of the woods. I figure we will have a dismal, chilly, and rain filled weather pattern starting in the next couple weeks and hopefully ending as soon as mid June. I doubt it though, I think it won't end until 2016 at some point. |

Will the clowns in GA learn to drive on sleet this year? Hey, I was one of those out and about laughing at all the idiots last year.
Which reminds me, I need to order a set of tow cables. If I had had those last year I could have made enough to retire in two weeks! |

Every sign I see points to an early winter. My gut is telling me to stockpile food. Maybe I'm just paranoid this year due to the bad winter last year...but my gut feelings are rarely wrong. I got my tire chains from GA this weekend. I had a little voice tell me not to delay in preparing for winter. probably stock some extras this coming weekend. |

I think a ton of southern drivers would kill themselves here on a normal snow day. |

These are the same jokers who cant get a prediction for tomorrow right.
