My stepdaughter passed away due to complications from Agent Orange.  I've got all his photos from his time in Vietnam I want to scan to preserve.  Most of the photos are polaroids.  What resolution and format should I be scanning them in at?  I appreciate any help you have to offer.

Sorry for your loss.

I would scan at 1200 to 2400 DPI (whatever your scanner will handle) and save as a .TIFF file.
