Can I get some feedback/reviews on some of the best recliners out there? Maximum comfort is my ultimate goal with an emphasis on quality, focusing on lumbar support, frame construction, mechanism, footrest, positions, cover (fabric or leather) and weapons management, eg, armrest (pistol) storage, wide plush armrest bed to nurture continuous pistol grip, armrest breadth to support over-the-lap horizontal carbine placement, etc. |
| since May I have had La-z-boy sofa(Kasbah) and chair(forgot the name), pretty comfy and pretty well built, good warranty on the frame. I went with leather. the leather is soft, and nice matching grains. kinda expensive though. people flip out when they see the sofa has 2 recliners. |
| I work at a funiture store and we carry LaZBoy, Broyhill, Flexsteel,Catnapper,Peoplelounger. If iI were to buy one it would be a Lazboy. We have less problems with them.In order of less problem to most LayZboy, Flexsteel, Peoplelounger, Broyhill, Catnapper(Crapnapper). |
Thanks kg4ajk, good info to know from an insider. Wish you carried the Barcalounger also. Be interesting to know which has less problems, the La-z-boy or Barcalounger. |

Did you own a La-z-boy and Barcalounger, compare the two and finally settle on the Barcalounger or, did you buy the Barcalounger and find it top notch right out the gate? currently, i own two lazboy loungers and a lazboy couch. they are good stuff. don't get me wrong, i'm not putting down lazboy, but i've owned barca's in the past and they were simply made stronger and were more comfortable...just my opinion. whenever i go over to a friend's house, we head down to his bar room. i always for the barca...the one i gave to him about 10 years ago. |
