Yesterday I drove 200 miles to go pick up my brand new H&H enclosed 7x16 trailer. I made it about 10 miles from the dealers lot and kaboom

I know how you feel. First time using my brand new trailer, a guy hit me so hard the insurance company wrote it off.
|
|
Never mind, I put on glasses, and see the catastrophe! |

He must have hit you pretty hard to bend the hitch/ball like that.

Knowledge or thoughts the person who hit you was on his/her cell phone?
|

Good to see you back.
That was a pretty good hit. Hope they had real insurance. |

Underage driver with only a learners permit and no one else in the car. They have insurance but it looks like some local no name place.
It's at a trailer shop getting an estimate today, still have to get the truck to the dealer. |

Fuuuuuu I hope you brandished your carry piece on that asshat
Jk |

Make sure your truck is checked for frame damage, from the looks of that hitch it could have pulled the rear frame rails together a bit.
Sorry about your luck OP, that sucks ! |
|
At least it looks like the hitch absorbed some of the impact instead of shooting it all into your vehicle.

|
I don't have anything constructive to add, aside from saying I'm sorry this happened to you.
You are far too good of a guy to have to deal with this crap |
|
|
Sucks for the trailer. Is the door frame bent or just the door?
Truck should be easy, rip of the old hitch and throw another one on. |

Never knew they offered pickup trucks without factory hitches? Why would someone ever want a pickup without a hitch? View Quote View All Quotes View All Quotes Quoted:

How do you know it's not an aftermarket hitch and why the edit? I think it did pretty good for getting hit at approximately 30. Something had to give |

Illegal driver on her phone with questionable insurance? I'd be talking to an attorney and the DA.

What you want to bet that the person that hit you has to buy a new car every few years.

I watched a teenage girl totally miss a sharp curve on a windy, descending road and roll her car not that long ago. It's like, what the fuck did she expect to happen? |

get a new Trailer, just tell your insurance company to make you whole again. my brand new 27 pace car hauler was never the same after the lexus hit it when it was only a month old

In my experience, trailers are giant magnets and eat tires when not being struck by other objects.
