Yesterday I drove 200 miles to go pick up my brand new H&H enclosed 7x16 trailer. I made it about 10 miles from the dealers lot and kaboom

My brother was pulling his new Commander and trailer when his hitch split in three. It had rusted from the inside out so no issues were visible until the center broke away from the tubes.

Underage driver with only a learners permit and no one else in the car. They have insurance but it looks like some local no name place.

It's at a trailer shop getting an estimate today, still have to get the truck to the dealer.

They were. I had the inspection paperwork from dealer before I left, plus they worked on the scene when the cop checked them

Make sure your truck is checked for frame damage, from the looks of that hitch it could have pulled the rear frame rails together a bit.

Frame probably bent too. It may look easy to straighten at first, but may need a frame rack at a body shop. Hitch is a goner. Make them buy a new trailer.

Almost guaranteed they were screwing with a phone, in an open road accident. I'm sort of surprised that so many of them admit it.

I hope her parents ground her until she's 30.

I watched a teenage girl totally miss a sharp curve on a windy, descending road and roll her car not that long ago. It's like, what the fuck did she expect to happen?
