What does Quakers have to do with anything? He posted 3 videos with the title REAL ISLAM. This is a guess but what is on those 3 videos is supposed to be what REAL ISLAM is. What makes these videos define what REAL ISLAM is and not other people that think they is REAL ISLAM?Because you want an enemy that is bigger than the one we already have? We know the radicals hate us and want to kill us. But posting something that labels that type of islam as the REAL ISLAM alienates those muslims that don't believe that is REAL ISLAM. Kind of stupid in a strategic way. |

The problem as I see it is how do you decide what constitutes "real" islam? Do you look at the policies and actions of its founder? Do you look at what it was based on? Do you look at what the majority currently claiming islam as their religion practice? Do you look at what the most vocal islamic leaders preach? Is is a combination of all or some of the above? In a lot of ways islam is just like any other large grouping of people, there are good and evil people and deeds within. In a lot of ways it is just like any other organized religion in that within it are men who would twist the ideas and manipulate the followers into following their own secular agendas. IMO you can't put islam squarely in the good or evil category, it occupies the middle ground in direct correlation to the deeds of it's followers. |
