I've got an equation I need help with

x-3
––––––   +   x-2
5           ––––––––––
              2                  =     1/2

Im curious as to how I get the denominator the same. I tried multiplying by ten but the denominator changes, and isn't the same through.

Thanks

I'm currently in Calculus II (and working on my homework as I type this). I can't make sense of your equation because of the font (don't want to give a bad answer). IM me with a better idea of what you're working with and i'll help you out.
