Wonder what the DUmmies will make of this. I bet their heads will explode with the contradictions.

From Drudge:

RANGEL: AN ATTACK ON BUSH IS AN ATTACK ON ALL AMERICANS... 'You do not come into my country, my congressional district, and you do not condemn my president. If there is any criticism of President Bush, it should be restricted to Americans, whether they voted for him or not. I just want to make it abundantly clear to Hugo Chavez or any other president, but do not come to the United States and think because we have problems with our president that any foreigner can come to our country and not think that Americans do not feel offended when you offend our Chief of State'...

Politcs, anyone?

Yep. He's a dufus, but he's smart enough to know that the American people are getting VERY TIRED of the left's constant bashing of Bush and also that most GOOD Americans tend to unite when someone from outside bashes one of us.

Should be interesting, but Rangel is pretty far left.

And even HE knows that his district isn't safe from the consequences of Chavez cock-gobbling.

Sure, it is politics, but all elected office is about politics.

I heard his press conference, and he didn't "blast" chavez, mearly gave lip-service condemnation to give the appearance of actually giving a shit about this country and it's president.

I give his comments as much weight as any other anti-America democrat/socialist/commie-luvin wind-bag.

Drudge's word, not mine.

I don't believe for a minute that Rangel actually believes what he said.

So by that rationale Bush would have had no right to criticize Hussein.

Criticism is not a privilege reserved to those from within, although it might bear more weight and less ignorance. That really is some BS grandstanding on Rangel's part.

Congressman Harold Ford Jr., who is running for the soon to be vacant Bill Frist
Senate seat, had a press conference yesterday demanding that Chavez apologize to the President.

Ford Jr. is as liberal as they come.

With an election coming in November, it is amazing (and disgusting)
to watch these idiots change their stripes every time the wind blows.

They will say ANYTHING, no matter how much their words contradict their
past voting history, to con voters into casting a ballot for them. Most politicians are
truly despicable.

And what condemnation came from any OTHER American politician like Tom Tancredo or Ron Paul?

{crickets}

Bravo to Rangel for saying what EVERY member of Congress should have been publically saying! I don't give a fuck if it was for political purposes - AFAIK he's the ONLY one who's been outspoken about condemning what that worthless turd-world dictator had to say about our President WHILE BEING A GUEST IN OUR COUNTRY!

And what *I* want to know is just WHY IN THE HELL did our UN Ambassador John Bolton just SIT THERE like a dumbass through that turd-world asshole's shitflinging bullshit!

WHY did Bolton not get up, flip Chavez a great big "FU" and walk out of the UN while that mongrel-fuckhole was dribbling his crotchrotted gruntings at the podium!

Who the FUCK would sit there and just listen in silence as some terrorist-loving Communist dictator comes into OUR country and insults OUR President in a time of war with the lowest most immature slew of insults over and over again!??

Would YOU sit there and let that stupid asshole do a lame Jon Stewart impersonation and call our President "the devil" and say the podium smells like sulfur and mock Catholicism by making the sign of the cross while trying to exorcise the devil from the podium!???

WTF - and THEN to have that dictatorial sack of shit get laughs and APPLAUSE from members of the UN body!??

WHO could just sit there at let these grunting savages piss on our President and our nation like that!?

When did Bush travel to Iraq and criticize Hussein in his own country? Mild criticism of a countries policies while a guest there is common and acceptable diplomatic practice. Calling the leader of that country the devil while in that country is not.

I know it's a hard concept to grasp, but I'm sure someone can draw pictures for you so you can understand it.

What condemnation is needed?  It is self-evident.  I found myself in hysterics while listening to his rants.

I completely understand the frustration, but c'mon!  This schtick is tried.

Bush should do what Chavez suggested, and help move the UN off our soil.

Oh he believes it. He understands the political ramifications of it. Foreign leaders come into the US and call the President the devil tends to unite the country behind said President. He doesn't want that for obvious reasons.

That is also the reason why our leaders don't travel to other countries and insult their leaders while we are there. If we don't like a leader the last thing we want to do is go into a country and drive public support behind that leader.

Someone draw pictures so that other poster can understand it.
