My happy place at sunrise The only one of my golf clubs I can hit consistently. I fear no sand trap.   The first time out shooting my first gun that I owned. Benelli Nova 12ga. What you don't see is Dad next to the cameraman repeating "Don't shoot yourself! Don't shoot yourself!"   The family dog. Terror of moles. Annoyer of squirrels. Loyal and loving.  |

All day at the zoo, and my favorite shot is of the squirrel wandering through.
The only concrete lawn ornament I own. 
Cincinnati zoo. I believe these two were donated by those two Las Vegas magicians, Roy and ??? 
A fawn from a local park. It's mom came by later and started snortin' at me.

Around midnight at the mouth of the Naknek River 
This landing craft beached itself on a sandbar in the middle of the river. 
Anchoring up for the night at the Y. 
Bear tracks on the beach 
Some moose 
They see you too. Wish I had my .22, or even a slingshot. 
Dillo watchin' over the net. You can see the cork line stretching out of focus.

She had arthritis, tumors, and was senile. Some nights she would be in so much pain and be so confused that she would howl all night. All you could do was hold her, talk to her, and pet her so that she would get to sleep. That picture was from 2007. She finally passed away in 2010 at the age of 22. When you love your pet you do some special things for them.... |
