The awesome thing about eggnog is that it's soothing on the way up too.

Feel better dude!

Try a good Kentucky Bourbon

ETA: I recommended Knob Creek or Makers Mark.

Did you meet him at the Manhole? I don't think that would help a sore throat.

Beam is not watered down like Jack Daniels is...it's better whiskey for less money IMHO.

I don't know what Jim Bean is either. Kinda sounds like Jim Beam though which is a pretty tasty bourbon. :)

slivovitz and hot tea.

guaranteed sore throat remedy.  plum brandy is great for medicinal purposes.  though in excess, it makes for a weird hangover.

the egg nog thing, i like so co in it.  so co is also great to cook with, as it caramalizes perfectly

knob, makers, are sipping bourbons.  ice, water if you're too new to it, but dont waste it by mixing.

beam for mixing.  jack for heavy drinking.

thats how i roll....

Jim Beam is the poor man's Jack Daniel's...
That being said, I am a faithful, enthusiastic consumer of Mr Beam's fine whiskey

I love the Jim Beam, however I find the a bottle of blackberry brandy will put you right when your throat is wrong. Also, don't smoke.

ETA: throat instead of lungs. In my case that is the progression.

For the love of god, have you no mercy?

The man is sick, we're not trying to euthanize him.

My first experience was while shoveling snow with an old Bohunk.

I swear, the snow was melting around my ankles.

9/10 people call it "Jim Bean".

I don't understand it.

You have the bottle right in front of you and you're one of the 9?

He was a seriously tough guy to begin with, but I'll bet that being weaned to Slivovitz boosted his immune system.
