I need a quote made by a famous guy (preferably Founding Fathers) that basically states that fighting for something is better than not doing anything, even if you don't win. Thanks |
look through here |
| "Still, if you will not fight for the right when you can easily win without bloodshed; if you will not fight when your victory will be sure and not too costly; you may come to the moment when you will have to fight with all the odds against you and only a precarious chance of survival. There may be a worse case. You may have to fight when there is no hope of victory, because it is better to perish than to live as slaves." — Winston Churchill |

Not quite what you are looking for but it is my personal favorite "War is an ugly thing, but not the ugliest of things. The decayed and degraded state of moral and patriotic feeling which thinks that nothing is worth war is much worse. The person who has nothing for which he is willing to fight, nothing which is more important than his own personal safety, is a miserable creature and has no chance of being free unless made and kept so by the exertions of better men than himself. " John Stuart Mill This wont be used in any Paul threads will it ![]() I keed I keed. |
