Straight for Blue book
MODEL 25-5
- .45 LC cal., 4, 6, or 8 3/8 in. barrel, blue or nickel finish (no extra charge - disc. 1987). Disc. 1991.
Grading 100% 98% 95% 90% 80% 70% 60% 50% 40% 30% 20% 10%
             $375 $315 $250 $215 $200 $190 $180

Last MSR was $429.
Add 5%-10% for 8 3/8 in. barrel.

Sometimes smiths can go over blue book with all original stuff, books. With the condition you state, I'd say he's asking to much.
