found out I'm out of Propane for the grill!! I was just ready to light up the grill for my marinated salmon filet and realized I'm out of propane!! First I thought, no problem, I've got two other tanks, I'll use one of them. THEY ARE BOTH EMPTY!!

How should I cook this salmon now? I don't want to run out and fill the tanks, I want to EAT NOW!! Suggestions please...I've never cooked it on anything other than a grill!

Wrap in aluminum foil. Bake in oven at 350° for about 10 minutes per pound. Check often to avoid overcooking.

I have one small rule about what I eat...I don't eat anything I have ever used for bait! I've used raw fish for bait before so I do not eat sushi.

I second the wood suggestion. Mesquite-grilled salmon. MMMMM MM!

Second suggestion, depending on how you marinated...

Heat up a heavy cast-iron skillet, get some olive oil hot. Chop up some garlic, sautee it in the olive oil, then add your salmon filet. Cook until done (Just keep checking and cook to your level of doneness)

I like doing the above with a thick tuna steak. Except I get the oil smoking hot, skip the garlic, and sear all sides, but leave the middle cool and red. Dammit, I'm hungry now.

Thanks guys! Delicious salmon is melting in my mouth as I type this!!

Now to get ready for dinner. Homemade lasagna! Homemade sauce and all!
