trying to buy one off craigslist.. he says its an i3 laptop and works fine. i need the dual core and he doesnt know.. so i guess i should just go for it

No more single core desktop processors.  i3 is dual core.

i forgot to say its 2 years old.. like i said i just wasnt sure if 2 years ago it was a single core

I don't believe intel released the i series until early 2010.........  All are dual core

There are no single core icore procs, so its for sure dual.
