Should I take a razor and make a small cut down the expansion joint...just to allow a little movement in the concrete without the tiles pulling apart? |

Keep in mind....all I'm using this for is to roll the bikes onto. I'm not going to be doing any wrenching on that spot. I'll just wheel the bikes out into the middle of the garage if I want to do some work on them. I'm not planning on getting any oil or fuel on them....maybe just some dirt from the tires ,and that's it. |
I have used the resin w/o the flakes and my boss has done it with the flakes. The flakes look great. Holds up well as long as the floor concrete hasn't gotten porous. If you roll over it with hard plastic wheels from an office chair it will bubble up as the concrete disintegrates. |
I though about doing the entire garage....but I don't know if the tiles are oil/fuel resistant. I wanted to leave enough room where I could have room to work on my truck....and not have to worry about getting oil, grease, fuel....all over the tiles. |
+1!!!!! Same thing happened to me about 8 years ago. Came straight down on my right knee. Still hurts every damn day Looking at surgery to fix it but can't afford the time off. |
........ .........![]() That was some thread... OH ...nice floor too.... |
Not a bad idea. Use a straight edge and you should be able to do it without making it too noticeable. |
