I'm pretty sure I know the answer but I just started wondering and of course questioning myself. Are CMP rifle purchases made at their stores exempt from the need for an FFL to do an interstate transfer? I.e. can I drive from my home in IL, stop in Anniston at the CMP store, buy a rifle and drive it home? I'm pretty sure that's ok to do, but just need to hear someone else verify it so I can quit arguing with myself.
