I keep seeing guys hit the ground and then roll when firing. Anyone know how to do this move?

How do you switch your weapon from single shot to auto?

i wonder about the rolling part too. I get shot all the time by snipers rolling while shooting me in the noggin with their rifle

but to change to single fire just press the number 3 key again ,
