[ARCHIVED THREAD] - Question on AR-15A3 tactical carbine

I have a Colt with the above stamp on it. Nothing else other that a pony....No Le/Gov't/etc markings.......

How can I tell if it is post or preban? There was a serial number checksheet somewhere.....but I can't find it.

Any thing over serial #134 is Law enforcement only. even if not marked L.E.O. only made 134 pre-bans. I have learned quite a bit about these in the last few months. e-mail me if you need to know more
