No, just kidding about the bean-counting pencil pushing thing...

But here's my question: Can I max out a Roth IRA
($6k per yr) if my wife also has a 401K?

I being told that the grand total of ALL retirement investments can't exceed $6K for a married couple. So I thought I'd come to the gun board for financial advice...

My expert advice is most professional...

Yes, you can still deduct the $3000 per person for an IRA (Roth or otherwise).  Once you reach a certain salary, the IRA is no longer deductible.
