Archived [ARCHIVED THREAD] - Question about renewing U.S. Resident Alien Card(aka visa/green card)

My parents are legal resident U.S. Aliens from Canada living in Ohio and they read that they need to renew there Green Card after 20 years, is this true? I looked at the DHS website and as always anything .gov is confusing and hard to understand.

Since myself and my sister denounced being Canadian and went ahead to become US citizens we have nothing to worry about.
