[ARCHIVED THREAD] - Question about Google maps with Firefox

Any else ever have an issue with this combination? I recently installed "NoScript" add-on, along with a couple others, and now I notice when I bring up Google Maps, the map never comes up, it's just a gray box that says "Loading...".

I checked the 'NoScript' tool, but it doesn't appear to be blocking anything. Also, it works fine with IE.

Any ideas?

Works fine for me and I've go Noscript installed. Did it work before you installed the other addons?

I've found if I spoof my user agent string to something like Internet Explorer, Google Maps doesn't work properly. Changing it back to Firefox fixes it.

99% sure it did, but honestly I don't use google maps here much, and I can't remember the last time I tried to use it. I'm not completely sure because I remember I use to have issues with certain things between FF and IE, where a site would work with one but not the other, but I don't think this was one of them.

Unfortunately, that one went right over my head.

What does "spoof my user agent string" mean?
