I have been Beta testing a new FREE browser based version of Quake (Q3 Arena like). PM me your email and I will send an invite. I'm not sure how many invites i have but hopefully more folks can pass them on.

Public beta went live yesterday.
So far, free to sign up and free to play. Apparently has ads in game, I suppose like on billboards and such. Also, apparently only works under Windows and IE7. Mac and Linux support, along with other browsers, coming soon. Also, even though I've never installed it, Punk Buster kicked me out. I found some instructions about how to hopefully fix that in IE7, but it's getting late and I don't want to wait in another hour long que to test it out. Otherwise, it's fun! Scary how map routes came right back, even though I haven't played QIII in years.... Oh, and I'm Kamicosmos there... maybe we can get an Arf clan going... |
