Anti-dupage; I searched for python snake kid and got nothing, so this shouldn't be a dupe unless it was posted "Oooh, looky here" or something like that.  I didn't Snopes it either. It's just a set of pics I got in an email. Enjoy.

ok, if its "fake" where the fuck did the pics of the latinos cutting open an anaconda with a kid inside come from? those look to "authentic" to be internet fakes. look at them. they seem to be taken with a camera from the 70-80s (theyve got that look) and the towns people look real enough, and it all just looks to real to be a fake. the story may be BS, but I would be really surprised if that WASNT an anaconda with a child inside. |
| the pics come from two DIFFERENT incidents, you can tell by the picture quality...supposedly a large python did in fact kill and consume a villager in SE Asia several yrs back. the first set of pics is probably from the snake killing a village animal of some sort and not likely a human, but it is entirely possible for a snake of that size to kill and consume a smaller in stature human being |

I saw on National Geographic last night a show about a cop that was searching for a guy somewhere where anacondas were present. He found the guy with his head stuffed in the mouth of an anaconda. Most of the experts on the subject believe that a large enough python or anaconda could eat an adult. The snakes can break bones which helps explain how a human can shrink to fit. |
I'm a snake fanatic. My name Squamata means scaley one. I keep and breed snakes. I have no prob with cutting it ipen i would expect the same if it were my child. But yeah , you are right lots would go nuts over that . and yes that sort of thing happens every year. And the snake actually can eat a child or a grown man for that matter.Has happened in the U.S. also. |
| I took a "snake in the house" call in Tucson in 1983. Expecting a rat snake or rattle snake, I was pretty casual about looking. Looked around the corner into a bedroom and came face to face with a 12' rock python that had lifted part of itself on top of a dresser...I felt my knees buckle. We were no more than 18" apart nose to nose. Don't know who was the most scared. Took three men to get the agitated snake into a critter bag and haul it to the zoo. Never found out where it came from. That snake was man-handling the three guys from the zoo until they just wore it out. Plenty big enough to consume a small kid or big dog. |
Naw, 158 grain Hornady .357 magnum jacketed hollow point square in the ole brain basket will get it.  note; might want to jump back real quick when you pop the thing though. |
