WTF kind of question is this? This is like asking who would win in a Mike Tyson vs. Strawberry Shortcake matchup I know. It's terrible. The thread about manly things BHO doesn't do got me thinking about it. Putin is a very manly man. BHO is a girl. Not just that.. but im not sure we have had a president in the past 50 years that would beat putin.. Take putin at his prime and take any president at their prime and i think you would have to go back to something like Teddy Roselvelt to get a winner.. Putin is a legitimate bad ass... He was a Leiutenant Commander in the US navy, and he also served as a Law Enforcement Officer as a bear control ranger in Yellowstone National Park. |

I have nothing but absolute disdain for BHO, but to compare an ex KGB thug against a dully elected president of the US of A, I would still go with our own president even though he is a totally, absolutely, useless douchebag. But at least he is OUR dochebag.

BHO is not 'our' President - his Liberation Theology inspired view of American history is far outside the mainstream of what most Middle Class Americans believe. I would also say that, giving each of the men an honest test, you'd find Obama to be a far more doctrinaire Marxist than Putin. Putin is really closer to a 21st Century Stolyptin than a true Communist. |

I don't get this - what am I missing? Even though we dislike BHO, he is still our president - why do you want the likes of Putin, a blasted foreign thug hostile to our interests beating our own president?
Now if you say BHO Vs. Sarah Palin or Rudy or Bobby or Fred then my vote goes to anybody / everybody to the right of BHO

ETA: I agree that BHO's views on many issues are outside of the mainstream Middle America, but still, he is a legally, elected president of the United States - how that happened is a shame, but that's how our system works. |

I think Putin very clearly longs for the power that Russia had when it was the Soviet Union, but understands that a heavily socialist system is not the way to a stable and powerful Russia. |
