So exactly what was in the breifcase they got from the stupid youths in Pulp Fiction? Unless I missed it, it was never really shown.

It's never specified. I read somewhere that allegadly it's Marcellus Wallace's soul, it being sucked out was why he had the bandage on the back of his head. Whatever.
|
|
QT pretty much came out and said it is whatever the hell you want it to be.

MacGuffin this. The contents of the briefcase are irrelevant. It simply serves to drive the story. |

I like thinking it was the jewelry stolen in "Reservoir Dogs."
In the DVD commentary, they say that the bandage on Marcellus Wallace's neck was put there to cover a distracting scar on Ving Rhames' neck, so I don't like the "soul" theory that much. |

Quoted:
The case contained a couple of dikfers. Two or three, I think. If...IF...there were any dikfers in the case then there is no doubt that they were ALONG WITH at least one henway. |
|
I'm not sure what's in it, but I do know that the pulp fiction briefcase was what was inside the suitcase in Ronin.

It held fourteen 1TB portable hard drives, the amount of space necessary to store all the threads which have asked this very same question in GD.

The WMD's that Saddam allegedly had. LOL! I don't think you can fit 550 metric tons of anything in a case that small. |

This is pretty hard to argue with...all I can think of is that the cougars name is Karen...and I think that's mainly because of your screen name and avatar. |

I always thought it was somebody's soul that Marcellus owned from making deals with people. Marcellus was the anti-christ. That is my guess anyways....

Quoted: Quoted: MacGuffin this. The contents of the briefcase are irrelevant. It simply serves to drive the story. exactly. all the soul BS is thinking way too deep. we don't need to know to enjoy the story. |

Quoted: There was a henway in it I think. This. In the original script Terrinto(sp) called for the case to contain a henway. When it came time to shoot the scene the prop dept. couldn't find a henway to use. There were only two local stores that had henways and they would not allow the prop guys to use them due to the fear of theft and/or breakage. So the shot the scene without ever showing the inside of the case... |

Quoted: MacGuffin This, you are not supposed to know it's just a device. But just in case I think it was essence of possum...... |

I will send you a copy of the letter I received in 1998 from the defense department in which they finally admitted that my unit was exposed to sarin and cyclosarin gas near Al Khamisayah Iraq in 1991 |

Thank you very much for your service. 2. Please don't interpret anything I posted ever as suggesting you were not at risk of or were exposed to chemical, biological, or other unconventional weapons. 3. Please understand I was referring to the uranium yellowcake which I thought was so convincing that no one would ever debate the issue of WMD in Iraq again. I didn't mean to detract from your experience by any means or measure. |

I know of such people. They use it to ridicule me here in CO. I'm not an American but I defend what was done and try to explain what's at stake. It often seems futile but I try. |

Heroin. So obviously pure and uncut that even those who haven't tried it would drool over it.
Jules wouldn't call gold bars "my boss's dirty laundry". |

Exactly and if they did keep anything it would have degraded beyond use long before we even thought about invading. |
