Lonoke County sheriff's deputies broke up what they say is a prostitution ring being run out of a home in the Greystone community in Cabot.
A website and several complaints from neighbors in the Greystone community led Lonoke County deputies to the house and what they call a full-fledged prostitution ring. "An undercover agent quickly made contact with several johns coming from the home," says Lonoke County Sheriff Jim Roberson. Jerry Richard was busted Wednesday night and charged with patronizing a prostitute. Pornpieman Phouangmany and AE Samontry were also arrested and charged with prostitution. Deputies are looking for two more to arrest. "When we came into the house, they were in the process of a sex act. The man was still nude on the bed," says Sheriff Roberson. Neighbors are thrilled all three were arrested and thrown into jail. "Everytime you would open the door she would have on a T-shirt and that was it," says neighbor Bruce Jones. "It's hard to believe in a community like this that something like this can happen." Deputies confiscated several hundred dollars from the home. Prostitution is a misdemeanor, in most cases it is punishable with a fine. The women will be back in court June 16th. Copyright 2010 Newport Television LLC All rights reserved.
