Need to unzip an essential file, but all I get is "no files to unzip".  I have tried other files too.  I can't unzip anything.  Rebooted about a half dozen times.

I am at a loss.

File association problem? Open up My Computer, click on "Tools", "Folder Options", "File Types". You'll have a "Registered File Types" field. When you select one you can change what program\application it's associated with below said field.

Described based on Windows 2000.

Yeah, I'd never have guessed that. WTF? Are the files stored on a networked\remote share and you just have links to them?
