Quoted: Yes it is, just picked up mine and installing it as I post. Going to defrag the game drive when I'm done and jump in. MW2 can kiss my ass, I did the beta test and didn't like it. post what ya think when you need a break. my son was doing the on line demo. said the demo was good..liked some stuff, other stuff not so much. said the sniper class was kick ass. |

Quoted: This will actually be good for him, they have run the Call of Duty series into the ground. He's getting out while the getting is good. I agree, lets see if treyarch follows suit and fucks up the next installation, sad thing is I was always enjoyed the treyarch games much better than the IW games, maybe they will jump on the Modern Warfare train and fix the shit that IW screwed up. Maybe we will see a return of zombie mode.... hopefully. |

Quoted: Quoted: Just saw a long discussion about this on Attack of the Show tonight... Cliff notes? Same discussion we've had on here, along with IW making allegations that Activision has unmitigated greed... Also a theory this might just be a ploy to move attention away from Bad Company 2's release ![]() |

I wanted to see a COD WWII Pacific, Korean War, and Vietnam games. COD5 had Pacific. Attack of the Show said part of the lawsuit says that a new Call of Duty cannot be made in a setting of Vietnam or later... So possibly a Korean War COD? Korea is a wartime that hasn't really been placed into an FPS game setting, or hasn't been done well anyway. WWI as well, though I don't know how well gamers would handle trench warfare. |

holy crap. "if you invoke your right to privacy you are insubordinate. If you console the secretary that we just called a dirty tramp, well then you are insubordinate." That crap would get you shot in TX |

I followed it closely before it came out and everyone including Bowling said that there was not a public beta.

Call of Duty 2 was primarily bolt action rifles and was VERY popular. The most popular sniper rifle in MW2 is bolt action. Now, the Pirates mod for Battlefield 1942, that was muskets. And all kinds of awesome. |

I freely admit that I am addicted to MW2 as of right now (Prestige 3), however I can see myself ending it soon if we don't get new maps.
It feels as if they made the game and then took 3 months off. It's like everything is a big secret with them. New maps? Updates? Is anyone even there? World at War (Treyarch) at least put out maps consistantly and updated itself often. |
