support.microsoft.com/kb/918165 New problems with a MS Automatic Update/Patch that will lock up Word trying to Open/Save. I also had a user that couldn't use IE. If you entered something into the address bar, it wouldn't work. Firefox was fine, but IE was hashed. Good Luck! |

Brassburn. If it still didn't work, I would consider uninstalling that security update, MS06-015. I read on a forum somewhere that MS was considering making a fix for it more permanent. If thats the case (take it with a grain of salt, it was on a forum) then I think you would be OK without that security update. My computer was running fine before it, so it must not be THAT critical. |
