A guy at the range related this story to me.... He went to the DMV last week to apply for some vanity plates: AR15 4ME The lady at the DMV asked him to describe the meaning of the plate because "we do not want any immoral or demonic messages portrayed on the plates". He explained an AR15 was a firearm. She and her supervisor were unable to decide if that would be allowed, and the decision is now being made in the state capital. Next time, I told him, tell them it's your girlfriends nickname. HONESTY IS NOT ALWAYS THE BEST POLICY !! Funny thing is I do see some plates that have AR15 at the beginning, but I am sure it is just random. |

"HONESTY IS NOT ALWAYS THE BEST POLICY !!" Geez no kidding, "AR15 is the nickname for the love of my life." [;)] In NY you can call and complain that someone's license plate is indecent and the DMV will review it and sometimes make you return the plate if they deem it inappropriate. |

Quoted: The best plate I ever saw was the following "WH18RE". It was owned by a stripper. Sgtar15 I am embarrassed...I do not "get" this one. Either I'm stupid or just too lazy to figure it out. I'd have my wife help me decipher it, but she is sleeping. Help............... |

Sgtar15 My buddy & I were behind a very attractive blonde in a convertible Mustang a few months back with the personalized tag: MILF WE wondered if she was really aware of the implications. It struck me so odd that I posted it on our Hometown Forum that day... |
