looking through the new tapco magazine, i see some Sig Sauer P226 magazines, manufactured by Pro Mag.  Does anyone have any experience with these magazines?  good, bad?

I've always that they're crap, but I have never used them myself.  However, my uncle does use their Berretta 92 ones for his Berretta Storm and there have been no problems with them.  I'd suggest maybe trying out a couple if you can spare the $$$.  If they're good, order more.

I use Promags for my mini-14. 10 rnder's have never failed to feed. Don't know about the
other ones. I went to ProMag down in L.A once. It's really a tool maker.

I like the H&K USP pro-mags, very good low cost alternative.

My Luger one doesn't work well.

MY Pro-Mag Beretta 92FS and Sig 228/229 & 226 works great in their respective guns.  Zero feedng problems.

I've had mixed results. They're fine for plinking, but I wouldn't trust my life with one.

A buddy of mine bought some for his P226 during the ban.  Wouldn't feed worth crap.  When we held them up next to Sig factory mags, you could see that the top round was sitting at a much lower angle on the Pro-mag.  Took him a while to get them to refund his money.  I also had problems with a Pro-mag I bought for my wife's Smith 3913.  I would spend my money elsewhwere.  Mec-gar makes Sig's factory magazines, and I've had good luck with their P228 mags in my guns.

I read good reviews of Mecgar Sig higher capacity magazines here (2 rounds more than standard Sig high caps, but same size as standard Sig mags)

Just got some from here a week ago-

doesn't mecgar make the factory magazines for sig?

Anyways, I have heard mixed things about Pro Mag, but when it comes to something as cheap as magazines, I don't want ones that I can't trust my life with. It's all factory and mecgar for me

I had several Pro Mag magazines for my Sig P220.  They were all plagued by jams and on one mag the magazine spring broke while I was at Sigarms Academy for a pistol course.  I think it crapped out after only 3 or 4 load/shoot cycles.

I threw all of my Pro Mags away except for a 10-rounder I gave to someone.  Now I'm trying to remember what I did with that one.  Hmmm . . . .

Is it clear how I feel about Pro Mag magazines?
