I doubt it. People at our flight school buzz the campus all the time. One guy almost clipped the football scoreboard. He now flies little delta planes for a private company

People with L-39's and ex-warbirds do this shit all the time. Some even get caught by the FAA but they all manage to get out of it.

Ya know, Ive never seen a plane with fixed gear land skidding across the runway on its belly, and I dont think retractable gear really matter if they are hanging under a Continental-65hp.

I think I remember hearing somewhere that using colored duct tape to alter the N numbers works wonders, but I dont know where I would have heard that because I would never associate with the kind of people who would do that.
