So Horizon sent us out the email, and I bit. Went to my local hobby shop at lunch and picked up a Teal one, $326 OTD. It's nice when the local shops participate!

If you were ever even slightly interested like I was in this model, now may be the time! Hit their site and find the model, or hot the shops nearby.

This one is till in the box. My wife likes the teal and Tiffany - like colors and her Bday is Saturday. Soooo, this will be one of her gifts since she's into getting out with us. Also, I found one last white one in the valley and leaving to get it at The Hobby Garage at PJ's in 5 minutes! I originally wanted the white one so now we can cruise and build ours up together!

$299.99 and all!

Edit:

Oopsies, got the last white one in stock from the Superstitions to Far West valley shops. One shop on west side did not answer phone, so maybe they have some. Everyone else had nothing or The Teal/blue one. Got this one from The Hobby Garage at PJ's.

Should be fun building em up together with the wife since we are both nerds.

I got in on this deal. Currently have the body listed for sale and getting an injora Jeep Comanche hard body to replace it. Other than that I'll probably just leave it stock.

Anyone configured it to a two speed and taken the dog function off? I'm curious how fast it would be.

I've got an SCXiii Base Camp that's had a fair amount of upgrades installed. Super capable. Get some weight down low in the front.

Now that's cool!!

Going to get the Reefs rc rear swaybar for both Broncos next.

My buddy Dave painted up a clear body and interior for his Bronco and turned me onto some AXI233004 soft springs to set down the ride ht. So, I ordered some and going ro run 65wt shock oils and running by a dollar general to get pans for springs to put inside shocks on shafts under the valves to preload and get it like his here...now I need a clear body to customize one, too!

Got springs in today and at the last minute, decided to go with 75wt shock oil. Oh wow, what a smooth operator and that ride ht! I hope it performs as good as it looks! I'll do the wife's coils and oils tomorrow.

I wish my wife showed some interest. The one time she asked to drive my new truck, I handed her the controller and gave her a quick rundown on how to drive it. I walked into the house to grab a drink and came out to a neighbor kid doing donuts with it on its side in the middle of the street.

Fingers crossed for you she finds something she clicks with. My buddy down the street got his wife a Basecamp and painted up a custom body for her, so that got my wife more interested and I customized her an SXC10II of her own I gave her outta my stash of the two of them Rubicon models. Just need to finish decals and some chrome paint trim on this Chevy two-tone body of hers. It is coming out nicely, too. She's all in now! She made the comment this weekend at a BBQ that for as much crap as she teases me with, she is actually having fun now with them. I said, "You all witnessed that, wasn't my imagination, right!?"

One day! There will be one of those in the collection! That is a clean one you got there!

For now though, on my kind of big Marksman, I just modified (preloaded) some Proline Big Bore Monster Truck shocks and some RC4WD 2.2 Raceline alum bead lock wheels and RC4WD Boggers for a run up Vietnam Veterans Memorial Trail yesterday with a couple buddies. Was fun!

Good morning!

So, the wife and I had never seen an episode of Supernatural, so just a few weeks ago started from Episode 1 Season 1. Just finished Season 12 last night and already bummed only a few left! This show has had my attention, had me laughing my butt off to their references of politics, other shows in history as well as ties to Sam being Dean on Gilmore Girls in an episode or two, had me all tied up emotionally to the characters storylines in some cases. Great show, actually. I could see myself re-watching the whole thing again. So, yes, Winchesters is definitely next!!
