The press-on fake flash hider of the LEGP weapon has the same slots as the original. However, an M9 bayonet does not fit over the sample LEGP weapon that was tried.....therefore this would not be considered a grenade launcher.

So here is the question.....Since barrel "porting" is legal, would it be legal to port the barrel thru the slots of the fake flash hider of the LEGP??

It may be legal to do so IF it did not reduce the flash from the barrel from what it was before you ported it.
Reduce flash = flash hider
Reduce noise = silencer

Of course I am just some guy sitting at his desk screwing around on a computer, not any type of a legal expert on firearms in any way.
