| I am perpairing for a possible future deployment and i was wondering if my Ruger P345 is gonna be too much for her to use for home defence. Due to the caliber weight and all. What do you guys think what would you recommend? Money is an issue here. She is small like 110 pounds, this concerns me. |
| You need to take her out and let her shoot it. If she is comfortable with it its not a problem. If it does not fit her hands and she cant shoot it good, I say trade it in. You should have enough money to buy yourself another one when you get back. I've been in your shoes, be safe, and thank you. |
Here is one reviewer of this gun: Jeff Quinn-Ruger P345 Compact .45 Auto Pistol
I have not shot a S&W scandium 1911, but I have a S&W 5 shot J-frame scandium/aluminum 342 38spl & L-frame 296 44spl guns, and with factory 38/44spl ammo, it is pretty much a hand full for me to shoot. |
