I don't think I ever heard of it. oh man, how do i sum up banshee.. it's about a jewel thief who essentially works for a russian mob, he falls in love with the bosses daughter and on their 'score to run away on' he gets caught and spends 15 years in prison... he gets out, and wants to find his lover again, the russain mob boss' daughter. she wanted to flee her father, so she hides out in rural Pennsylvania in an Amish town called Banshee. she finds a man, has kids, the whole nine. So the protagonist finds her in this town, sees her, says what he has to say and wants to leave her to her new life. he's on his way out of town and stops at a bar on the way out. the new town sheriff who arrives from Oregon also stops in. This is the first place the sheriff stopped, so no one knows he's in town or who he is. A couple of amish gangsters come to collect from the bar owner (the town is run by an Amish mafia boss, trust me it's cooler than it sounds), a scuffle ensues, and the new sheriff gets killed. so the protagonist assumes the sheriffs identity and sets up in this small town.. and there's lots of violence, and lots of guns, and lots of tits, and hot little amish whores.. and it's a fucking awesome show. |
