So i've been working at the same job for 5 years now, pay is pretty good, work is ok, etc. but my boss is a riddlin eating, manic depressive,*edited*. (no sh#t i'm not making any of this up)

There could be problems when I request the transfer!

This job has taken a significant toll on my attitude and peace of mind.  Now a position is open within the health system and it seems like a better job, get to keep my benefits and retirement etc.

So, if you're so inclined to speak to the Man upstairs, please put in a good word for me, i'm just asking for a little guidance.

And if anyone has experience "transferring" within a company I'd appreciate any imput.

I know a lot of people are looking for work and that's what makes this scary. I have a wife and 7 month old to take care of now, so I dont think this is a light decision.
