Tomorrow I go in to see if the lesion on my kidney is cancerous or not. I could use a good word with the man upstairs if you got the time.

For now they are just going to monitor the cyst. Every 6 months I'll go in for an ultrasound. I'm going to take this as good news. Thanks for all the thoughts and prayers.

Prayers up. Not sure what tests you've had done. I had a CT scan Nov 2015. My left kidney had 2 spots each ~ 1.250" in diameter. Last CT scan showed they had shrunk to half the size.

I was diagnosed with kidney cancer after an MRI of my back picked up something on my kidney as an incidental finding. Found out on on Aug.23rd 2012 and had my kidney out on Sep. 21st. In on a Friday and out on Monday. Was supposed to leave on Sunday but my temperature spiked for a while. After sending my kidney to a lab, there were actually two tumors and confirmed Renal Cell Carcinoma. Here I am 5 years later and all is well. You will be fine and don't freak out if they tell you it is cancer and then proceed to inform you that radiation is of little use, nor is chemo treatment, and doing a biopsy is very risky. Have the kidney taken out and carry on.

Yeah, I'm thankful the lesion is only on one kidney.
