Please pray for my family. My older brother is home from college from spring break, calls himself an anarchist socialist, tells my mom that his Catholic upbringing means nothing to him now, and is probably a drug attic, which my parents just found out. I can hear them arguing and screaming upstairs and the only thing I can think is that my dad is going to disown him and my family is going to fall apart. Please don't post if you don't have anything to say. Please pray for us. |
He's actually one of the most intellectual people I know (not the smartest though). I hope and pray that it is "just a faze" but I am very worried and so are my parents. I'm scared for my family. As for the Marine recruiter, he would never do that, he pretty much could be classified as a hadji. The Marines are more my terroritory. Thank you all for the prayers.

The whole Anarchist BS is MOST OF THE TIME a phase and it is because of his surroundings at school. When I look back at that age... Yeah I was pretty dumb back then. But, what concerns me are the drugs... you said "Probably"... are you sure or is that in cement? If you feel that your mom and dad have a solid foundation on their marriage, they will fight (normal) and then they should be able to team up and work through it with your brother. Either way, Yes, you guys are going to have a rough time but this is probably not the first stupid thing he has done and it certainly wont be the last. Good luck my friend. |

I'll pray for you all,and especially for your brother. But sometimes,a boot in the ass works better! (the Lord works in mysterious ways  )Be strong and supportive of your folks. Hopefully it's just a stage.Sometimes kids get away from home,and tied up with the college "progressives". |
