My mother in law who treated better than my own mother ever did is dying. Last Friday she had a major stroke and today she was put on life support because she stopped breathing.

I am asking for some prayers for her. She spent her whole life as a Pastor's wife doing the Lords work.

Thanks everyone. I took the day off from work, spoke with my pastor and got his recommendation on a funeral home, went to an appointment there and made some preparations, then went to a local cematary to purchase a small plot in the Urn Garden. It is a very nice plot with a nice view. I think Mom will be happy here.

My wife is still very distraught but calmer now, that preparations are being made, and she is accepting our coming loss.

I have no "in" with the big guy upstairs, but I will say a prayer for your mother...in law. May God Bless and Keep her and be with you as well. If she did the Lord's work, she will be fine.

Done - although from your description, it sounds like the more efficient thing to do would be to give her a prayer list with our names on it. It sounds like she has been a real blessing to you and others.
