Is there any way to include video in a slide show on PPT?

If not, what program should I get. This is going to be for a presentation for my buddies landscaping buisiness at a trade show.

Thanks guys.

One thing.  I don't think powerpoint will embed the video into the ppt file.

so you'll need to copy both the orginal video file and the ppt file.

else, the slide with the video will have some error.

Yup, using the embedding, but there's some common pitfalls:
* Normally the video is not part of the powerpoint file and the video file must be in the exact place in relation to the powerpoint file.  If you are going to present the presentation on the computer in which you've been creating and running your presentation...no problem.  If you'll be using a different computer, it's possible, but the success rate is low...unless you're used to the way that files are organized.  You could copy the power point file, plus the video file...to the new machine, then go back in to your power point file, edit it and re-embed the video file again and make sure it works...

Sound like a lot?  Then the next step is probably easier

Use the Package for CD option that will make the video file part of your actual power point file.  (See point #'s 1 and 2 on this page on how to do it).  This will greatly increase the size of your power point file, which is usually fine, but can be an issue if you have a 12GB video file.

OK, that has worked out great. We are down to one problem now.

How in the world do we make the video start when the slide it is in comes up without having to click on the video itself?
