Can you seal an envelope with wax? I thought it would be cool instead of licking the envelope to seal it with wax and stamp a bolt face into the wax. Kind of like the old style wax letter seals with the stamp in them. Will the post office mail wax sealed envelopes?

Yes...
My son and new daughter in law just sent out a bunch of wedding invitations with the wax seal on the back.
My thoughts are that, even though everyone got their invitation, the lumpy envelope may jam the automated sorters.

That will really go over well, going through the optical scanners.
