I know post counting is stupid but I thought I'd dedicate mine to my little brother, who is obviously not so little any more.  Pretty proud of the little idiot, even though he went in the Marines.

Before you ask if he's an officer, let this picture serve as a hint.

seems like a good way to spend the marker. Congrats on the little brother.

Cool.

What is he going to fly when they bring the remaining 53's offline?

They're phasing out the Seaknights for the Osprey right now.  The 53E has a long time to go.

He preferably wants to go fixed wing, C-130 and will be eligible in a little less than a year (has to be a Capt w/deployment).

Yeah it's pretty ridiculous.  I would like to note that I can count the times on both hands that I "+1" or "IBTL".  We used to have a game called "IATL" but the site fixed that.

I am proud of my brother.  My 13 year old and I flew to Pensacola a couple of years ago when he got his wings.  I can't wait for him to make major-he doesn't know it but I have our grandfather's major rank from his service in WWII.
