We need a photo thread for custom builds so here it is.  I just built my first clubs at home, TM MG4 52 & 56 and a TM HiToe 4 60. Green is my favorite color and when I saw the KBS limited edition masters shafts available for wedges, I jumped all over them and stuck with the color scheme. I think the clubs turned out awesome and as long as my heads don't fly off tomorrow, I'll be satisfied with my first attempt.  Attached File Attached File Attached File |

Probably 25 years ago, I had a neighbor who had a golf buddy down in VA Beach who used to make/assemble clubs in his basement. I met the guy when he was visiting nextdoor, and one thing led to another, and he said he could make me a putter for $20 bucks. What the heck, you know? I tossed him a $20 and that was it. He got my name, number, etc... and made the putter. A few weeks later when he was back in town, my neighbor called me over and I picked it up. Really cool, generic, knockoff/clone, of the famous "Odyssey Rossie II", and he stuck a label on the back with my name on it!  I keep it in my collection of old Pings, Wilson 8802, etc... and don't always game it, as I am more of a blade type of golfer.  |

I only have them in the wedges because they are just so reliable and predictable albeit slightly boardy. I am running MMTs in the rest of the irons. Just as predictable as the axioms and a touch more kick. |

I’ve been playing MMT 125TX in my irons for a while and really like them. Much easier on my bad elbow than the Project X rifles I used to play. I still have good old steel in the Vokeys. |

I really, really liked my Project X rifle shafts, but they were hard on the joints. The graphite lets me swing as much as I want without pain. |

At this point I wouldn't play them if they made me scratch, as I would hate playing. I don't want golf to get like hockey did at the end: lots of pain the next day. |
