MEMPHIS, Tenn. (AP) — Memphis police consider it a case of sticky fingers. A Millington woman has been charged with taking $100,000 worth of hair gel from an Ampro factory in Tennessee. Officers say 44-year-old Lisa Dowell took 24 pallets of the product during a three-month period last year. WMC-TV in Memphis reported that the gel sells for a dollar or two dollars, depending upon the size container purchased. Police say Dowell was one of two employees with a key to the plant and the alarm code. But, Dowell was not arrested until this week after some of the stolen product ended up at a flea market in Olive Branch. Police say a middle man told investigators he bought the gel and sold it. Police say they expect the charges to stick.
